How verification works

A claim from one party is never enough.

Internal log
The operator's own record of what happened. A claim, never proof.

Independent evidence
A separate device or system, camera, scale, WMS, observes the same event from outside the operator's control.

Quorum
At least two of the available sources must agree. The operator's own claim is one vote among several, never sufficient alone.

Midnight · ZK proof
Once quorum agrees, the result is proven without exposing the raw underlying data.

peaq · identity & settlement
The proof attaches to the machine's on-chain identity and wallet, where revenue actually moves.
Revenue only moves after step 03. No quorum, no settlement.
